Derryck E. Cox O.D.
Derryck Cox has been in involved international trade marketing
and development for almost forty years. He is a specialist in working
with public and private entities overseas seeking to expand trade
with or attract investment from the United States, as well as consulting
with United States companies seeking to position themselves in foreign
markets. Derryck is President of International Trade Promotion,
Ltd. and also serves as a Senior Consultant for FFF Associates,
Inc.
Derryck functioned in various development and trade commissioner
posts for the Government of Jamaica, ultimately serving as Jamaica's
Chief Trade Commissioner for North America. In that capacity, he
directed all North American operations for the Jamaican Government's
economic development agency, JAMPRO (Jamaica Promotions). Derryck
has also brought his thorough understanding of the food and coffee
industries to numerous international trade consulting projects around
the world, including Egypt, Madagascar, the Dominican Republic,
and the Caribbean (Caribbean Common Market-CARICOM).
Derryck received his B.Sc. in Business Administration from New
York University. He has also completed courses in Marketing for
Senior Management at the University of Chicago, Export Development
at Trinity University in Dublin, Ireland, and Foreign Investment
as a Unido/Unitar Fellow in New York and London.
