Our work has mostly been concentrated in agriculture and rural development, the environment and natural resources, and private sector development with a focus on international trade. Founded initially over half a century ago as an herb and spice import/export company, the Company remains a leading force in international trade and promotion consulting. During the last decade the Company has broaden its scope to encompass general agribusiness consulting, association development, and environmental conservation and sustainability. FFF Associates’ President and principal shareholder is Valerie Furth. FFF meets the US government’s definitions for classification as a “Small Business”, as well as a “Woman-owned Business” and is registered with USAID’s Small Business Resource Database (SBRD).

Our staff and associates has extensive and varied developmental experience, working in the geographical areas of Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Western, Central and Eastern Europe. All have strong academic credentials and are authors of numerous published books, articles and commentaries. FFF Associates, Inc. management has extensive experience in international trade, counter-trade, negotiating and labor relations. Several senior staff members are currently active with international professional trade associations (Association of Food Industries, Association of Foreign Trade Representatives, American Spice Trade Association, National Association for the Specialty Food Trade, etc).
